Xcout Intel — Refund Policy
Part of the Subscriber Agreement, version 2026-09-12 · Read the full agreement
This page restates the refund terms of the Subscriber Agreement in plain form. The Agreement is the controlling document; where the two differ, the Agreement governs.
Try before you pay
Paid seat plans start with a 14-day free trial. Nothing is charged until the trial ends, and cancelling during it costs nothing. The checkout states the renewal date and amount before you pay (§3.2).
First annual purchase — 14 days
A first annual purchase may be refunded in full within 14 days of the first payment (§3.3). Ask within that window and the subscription is refunded and ended.
Claimed company profiles
A claimed profile's first month is free, so nothing is charged while a company tries it. After that the same rules apply as for a subscription: a first annual payment ($49) is refundable for 14 days, monthly payments and renewals are not, and cancelling keeps the links up until the end of the period paid for (§15.5).
What is not refunded
- Monthly subscriptions, and renewals of any subscription. Other than the first-annual window above, fees are non-refundable (§3.9).
- The unused part of a period after cancelling. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and access continues until then — so you keep what you bought rather than being refunded for it (§3.2, §3.9).
- Usage-based API charges for records already served (§3.6, §3.9). If you would rather be refused than charged beyond your quota, ask us to set a hard cap and we will.
Where applicable law gives you a right we have not offered here, that law applies and this policy does not limit it (§3.9).
If a payment fails
A failed renewal is not a charge to refund. We notify you and retry; access continues unchanged for 7 days, and if payment has not succeeded by then the subscription ends and the workspace returns to the free plan. Nothing is deleted (§3.8).
How to ask
Write to hello@intel.xcout.app from the account email, saying which workspace and which subscription. We answer every request, including the ones we decline, and we say why.
Dodo Payments issues the money. Subscriptions are sold by our authorised reseller, Dodo Payments, which is the merchant of record and collects the payment (§3.4). An approved refund is returned by Dodo Payments to the original payment method, and appears on your statement from Dodo Payments rather than from us. Banks typically post it within 5–10 business days.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from Billing, without writing to anyone. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not end the period you have paid for (§3.2).
