Xcout Intel's company data — companies, funding rounds, investors, people, jobs and hiring, rankings and metric histories — as tools that Claude and other AI agents can call directly.
Ask an agent which Series A fintechs in Germany are hiring engineers, or who sits on a company's board, and it answers from the same data as the app and the API.
https://intel.xcout.app/api/mcp
Sign in from the client (below), or send an API key on every request as Authorization: Bearer sk_intel_…. Create an API key.
Add the server URL above as a custom connector (Claude: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector; ChatGPT: create an app with OAuth authentication). Click Connect, sign in to Xcout Intel, pick the workspace and approve. No key to copy: the connection gets its own API key, listed under Settings → API keys as “Connected: <app>”, where you can revoke it.
Connecting needs a workspace admin with two-factor authentication on, the same rule as creating an API key by hand. Calls count against the workspace's plan like any other key.
claude mcp add --transport http xcout-intel https://intel.xcout.app/api/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer sk_intel_YOUR_KEY"
Add to ~/.cursor/mcp.json (or .cursor/mcp.json in a project):
{
"mcpServers": {
"xcout-intel": {
"url": "https://intel.xcout.app/api/mcp",
"headers": {
"Authorization": "Bearer sk_intel_YOUR_KEY"
}
}
}
}Bridge with mcp-remote (needs Node.js). In claude_desktop_config.json:
{
"mcpServers": {
"xcout-intel": {
"command": "npx",
"args": [
"mcp-remote",
"https://intel.xcout.app/api/mcp",
"--header",
"Authorization:Bearer ${XCOUT_KEY}"
],
"env": {
"XCOUT_KEY": "sk_intel_YOUR_KEY"
}
}
}
}URL: https://intel.xcout.app/api/mcp Header: Authorization: Bearer sk_intel_YOUR_KEY Transport: Streamable HTTP (stateless, JSON responses)
Building on the Claude API? See Anthropic's MCP connector documentation for attaching a remote MCP server to a request.
All tools are read-only. Each maps to one endpoint of the REST API (OpenAPI spec).
