How we know
Xcout Intel matches named AI tools in the job descriptions companies publish on their own careers sites. Ambiguous names (Claude, Cursor, Gemini) count only next to another AI tool or with an unambiguous product name, and GitHub Copilot is counted apart from Microsoft Copilot.
Full figures: AI adoption. How every report is built: methodology.
What this does not show
- These are floors, not totals: a mention that cannot be told apart from ordinary language is dropped rather than guessed.
- This measures what companies write, not what they run.
- Claude Code is counted separately from Claude, so the two should not be added.
